Why a Christian Educators Conference?

Apologetics Forum (AFSC) and Creation Training Initiative (CTI) are sponsoring a Christian Educators Conference on May 20, 2017 at Grace Academy in Marysville, WA. This one-day course was designed and produced by Mike Riddle, Founder and President of Creation Training Initiative. The local instructors for this course are Randy Sinn, Sheila Sinn, Dr. Heinz Lycklama, and Mike Riddle. All instructors are CATC Certified, i.e. they successfully completed the 5-day Creation Apologetics Teachers College from CTI.

WHY? Equip Christians with information, communication skills and instructional methods to teach, uphold and apply the biblical worldview. Independent studies find that 70% of Christian youth who grew up in the church lose confidence in the Bible and leave the church when challenged in our postmodern society.

WHO? Christian school teachers and administrators, pastors and youth pastors/workers, home school educators, Sunday school teachers, parents, and Christian college students majoring in education are all encouraged to attend this course. This is a great course for learning how to train students to defend their faith and pass these skills on to the next generation. 2 Tim. 2:2.

WHAT? Details on the course contents can be found in the accompanying Poster and Brochure. You will learn to answer questions such as 1) Who did Cain marry? 2) Was there really a worldwide flood? 3) What about Carbon dating? 4) Does the fossil record prove evolution? and many more.

HOW? You can register for the course here. Churches/schools can encourage their members to attend this course. They can place the Poster and accompanying Brochures for this course in their foyers and on their bulletin boards as well as on their websites. We have printed glossy brochures for the asking.

Come to the next AFSC meeting this Friday, March 24 to learn more about this course. Dr. Keith Swenson will be speaking on Learning From Catastrophe: Biological Recovery at Mount St. Helens.
