Alien Intrusion: Unmasking A Deception @ Theaters Nationwide
Jan 11 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Alien Intrusion Documenttary

Alien Intrusion: Unmasking a Deception –  Gary Bates’ Amazon top-50 best-selling book in its category, “Alien Intrusion” comes to big screens nationwide for one night on Thursday, January 11. This compelling new documentary includes contributions from an array of experts as well as first-hand testimonies from those who claim to have seen and encountered alien life. “Alien Intrusion” uncovers this bizarre phenomenon and challenges modern day theories about UFOs and extraterrestrial life.

Alien Intrusion: Unmasking A Deception,” presented by Fathom Events, KAOS Connect and Creation Ministries International, will be shown in movie theaters nationwide on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. local time. Audiences will also enjoy an exclusive interview with author and producer, Gary Bates, along with others who have personally experienced the UFO phenomenon.

Millions of people have seen UFOs and many even recall personal encounters with strange entities. The popular view is that these are advanced aliens visiting us from far away, but this compelling new documentary takes a deeper look at the events, the beliefs, the experts and the people who have shaped our views in the “otherworldly.” When one examines this phenomenon, one of the most disturbing but powerful affirmations of the spiritual realm, Christianity and the Bible becomes clearer. This documentary seeks to solve one of the most haunting and persistent mysteries of our time by addressing  UFO sightings in every country, things seen on radar, what happened at Roswell, alien abductions, government cover-ups, and even a “new” religion. The truth will surprise you!

Evolution’s Achilles’ Heels – Dr. Rob Carter @ Overcomer Covenant Church
Jan 24 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Description: This is the title of CMI’s groundbreaking new book and documentary. Unlike anything CMI has ever done before, we interviewed 15 PhD scientists and asked them to list the fatal flaws of evolution, according to their own areas of expertise. Instead of our traditional approach of defending the Bible, this time we put the evolutionists on the defensive and make them answer the most difficult questions we could think of. In this introductory talk, Dr. Carter will summarize the major issues for the evolutionist three critical areas: natural selection, genetics, and the origin of life. This is powerful information that you do not want to miss!

SpeakerDr Carter was converted to Christ at an early age, but did not know what to do with the theory of evolution. He always knew what he wanted to believe, but had no way to express what he was thinking and no evidence to support his views. In his freshman year of college, he was exposed to the information for creation for the first time and soon after adopted it as his modus operandi. He says he felt a tremendous joy when he realized his science and his religion were no longer at odds. This joy (and, he says, Creation magazine and the Journal of Creation) enabled him to get through the in-depth evolutionary training of his undergraduate and graduate programs with his faith intact.

He obtained a BS in Applied Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1992. He then spent four years teaching high school biology, chemistry, physics and electronics before going to the University of Miami to obtain his PhD in Marine Biology. He successfully completed this program in 2003 with a dissertation on “Cnidarian Fluorescent Proteins.” While in Miami, he studied the genetics of pigmentation in corals and other invertebrates, designed and built an aquaculture facility for Caribbean corals, performed well over 500 SCUBA dives, many of them at night, and licensed a spin-off product of his research (a patented fluorescent protein) to a biotech company.

He is currently a senior scientist and speaker for CMI-USA in Atlanta, Georgia, where he lives with his wife, Leanne, and children and is currently researching human genetics and other issues related to biblical creation.

Biblical Worldview As It Relates To Science – Dr. Rob Carter @ Summit Park Bible Church
Jan 25 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Description: Today, bible-believers are a great minority among practicing scientists and are subject to much persecution. Yet, modern science was developed on principles directly derived from Christian theology. Despite that history, science today operates without even token admission of its roots. How does this affect current scientific practices? Can we trust the conclusions of all those men and women in white lab coats? Can science operate in a moral and ontological vacuum? We will examine three examples of how the turn from belief in God has affected modern thought: geomorphology (the shape of the earth’s surface), fossilization (the process of preserving the remains of living organisms), and genetics (specifically as it relates to the genetic history of mankind). In each of these subject areas, we will examine the evolutionary scenarios put forth to date and weight them against solid biblical exposition. In the end, we will see that the evolutionary conclusions for each of these subjects is derived more from starting assumptions than it is from reality. Science belongs under the umbrella of Christianity.

He always knew what he wanted to believe, but had no way to express what he was thinking and no evidence to support his views. Genetics, High Tech Cell & Y-Chromosome Noah – Dr. Rob Carter @ Atonement Free Lutheran Church
Jan 27 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Mini Conference on Genetics

Description:In this Mini Conference on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until 12 noon, Dr Carter brings two seminars on Genetics. This is based on the latest research findings on DNA in the human genome – powerful information that you won’t want to miss! There will be an extended time for Q&A after the second seminar.

The first seminar at 9:00 AM is on the The High-Tech Cell. The human genome is anything but simple. In fact, it is a super-complex computer operating system that far exceeds anything created by humans to date. New revelations about how it works have surprised us, and the complexity of the code is nothing short of astounding. The genome, perhaps more than anything else, defies naturalistic evolutionary theory.

The second seminar at 10:30 AM is on Y-Chromosome Noah.
There is no specific reason in evolutionary theory to predict a single male ancestor for the human race, but he certainly existed. This single ancestor is also a direct prediction of the biblical text. By analyzing the 1000 Genomes Y chromosome database, it is possible to conclude that ‘Y Chromosome Noah‘ lived in the biblical time frame, in the Middle East.

The Roots of Evolution – Bruce Barton @ Atonement Free Lutheran Church
Feb 23 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Description: Most people assume that the concept of evolution began with Charles Darwin.  But Darwin merely popularized and provided a supposedly scientific explanation for evolution, an idea that has been around for a long time.  A thread of evolutionary thought may be traced back to the earliest recorded civilization. In this presentation we trace evolutionism back to its early beginnings and show how it influenced Greek philosophy, which in turn affected Western culture from the Renaissance down to the present, and became deeply rooted in our culture today.

SpeakerBruce Barton has degrees in meteorology and theology, with studies in engineering and graduate work in atmospheric sciences. Mr. Barton was an instrumentation engineer in R&D for Weyerhaeuser Company until retirement. He has a broad background as a teacher and speaker to groups of all ages in a wide range of subjects including science and technology, aviation, and Bible topics, particularly apologetics. Bruce has been speaking on the Creation/Evolution controversy for over ten years, especially to homeschool groups. He continues to give seminars and lead field trips for them. Bruce also serves on the Board of Directors for CAPS.

Bruce’s web site is at monarch.nwcreation.net.

Interpreting the Geology of Grand Teton National Park – Dr. Keith Swenson @ Atonement Free Lutheran Church
Mar 23 @ 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Interpreting the Geology of Grand Teton National Park

Description: The Tetons in Northwestern Wyoming are arguably the most spectacular peaks in the Rocky Mountains. Millions of tourists to Grand Teton National Park each year are awed by its rugged mountain grandeur.

Park signs and interpretive rangers also explain the geological history of the Teton Range and its companion valley, Jackson Hole. Visitors are told that the mountains have been incrementally rising and the valley dropping over several million years. The range is said to be still forming and will continue to do so well into the future.

Bible believers should ask whether this is the best interpretation of Teton geology. Or could the Teton landscape have formed, given a Creation-Flood model of earth history? Please join us as Dr. Keith Swenson presents a beautiful Power Point program in which he addresses the park’s secular message and then proposes a biblically-based alternative interpretation.
